Happy New Year!
Hi Eolymp Community!
As the year quietly comes to an end, it feels like the right moment to look back and appreciate what we have built together. This year was full of contests, ideas, late-night discussions, last-minute fixes, and countless moments of problem-solving, and every part of it was driven by people who truly care about this platform.
Throughout the year, Eolymp hosted many Weekend Practice rounds, Blitz contests, and Eolymp Cups. Behind every round stood hours of invisible work: brainstorming tasks, reviewing statements, testing edge cases, and coordinating releases. None of this happens by accident.
I would like to begin with a heartfelt thank you to our coordinators, who carried the responsibility of keeping everything organized, fair, and on schedule:
Hasan Saleh ( MathModel )
Denisov Kostantyn ( denisovkostya )
Anton Tsypko ( arsijo )
Your commitment, reliability, and willingness to take responsibility are the foundation on which all these contests stand. Much of your work happens quietly, but its impact is felt by the entire community.
A huge thank you goes to our most active problem writers, whose creativity and consistency shaped the core of this year’s competitions:
Your ideas challenged thousands of participants, sparked discussions, and pushed the level of Eolymp forward. Writing problems is never easy — and doing it repeatedly, at high quality, is something truly special.
I would also like to sincerely thank our active testers, whose careful reviews, patience, and attention to detail made the rounds smoother and fairer:
An honorable mention goes to chyckchyryk, whose hard work and dedication as a tester stood out throughout the year, especially through detailed testing notes on concluded rounds and contributions to testing Blitz #9.
There are several individual contributions that deserve special recognition:
arsijo and denisovkostya, for coordinating Eolymp Cups and strengthening large-scale competition formats.
De3b0o, for writing three complete Weekend Practice problemsets in a single year — an impressive and rare achievement.
MathModel, for authoring the first full Weekend Practice set and coordinating numerous WP and Blitz rounds.
denisovkostya, for introducing MathModel to coordination and helping expand and mentor the organizing team.
Finally, thank you to every participant and community member — whether you solved problems, tested drafts, reported issues, or simply showed up to compete. Eolymp exists because of people who care enough to contribute, improve, and support one another.
Please join me in applauding everyone mentioned — and many more working behind the scenes — for their dedication and passion.
Wishing you all a peaceful, successful, and inspiring New Year.See you in the next contests on Eolymp.
