Season 2025–2026 is here!
We’re excited to kick off a new competition season and share some updates on Eolymp. Our mission remains the same: hosting regular, high-quality contests for the competitive programming community. This year, we’re running more rounds, adding new formats, and introducing a new reward system.
Eolymp Mints
Starting this season, all contest rewards will be given in Eolymp Mints — Eolymp’s own reward points.
You’ll earn Eolymp Mints by participating in contests, solving problems, and contributing to the platform. Mints can then be exchanged in the Eolymp Store for T-shirts, stickers, and other prizes. Weekend Practice Top-10 finishers will continue to earn enough Eolymp Mints to redeem a T-shirt, just like before.
The store launches next week with exclusive T-shirts (new designs for this season!), and we’ll expand the prize selection over time.
Weekend Practice
Weekend Practice contests will continue once or twice a month, with a goal of 20 contests this season. We’re also involving more authors to ensure a steady flow of high-quality problems.
If you have an idea for a problem, submit it here — setters can earn up to 350 EUR per contest.
Weekend Practice rounds remain rated for all participants. As before, Top-10 finishers will receive rewards — now in the form of Eolymp Mints.
We’re also updating our random prize system to include more participants:
Criteria | Eolymp Mints |
---|---|
Top-10 (ranks 1 to 10) | 500 |
10 random participants among Top-50 who scored at least 151 points | 250 |
20 random participants among Top-100 who scored at least 51 points | 100 |
Blitz Rounds
This season introduces a new format: Blitz Rounds. These are fast-paced 1.5-hour contests with easy-to-medium problems. They’re designed especially for beginners who want to practice algorithms, experience competition, and build confidence.
Problem difficulty will roughly follow A-B-B-C-C from Weekend Practice: one very easy, two easy, and two medium.
Blitz Rounds will run twice a month, starting next Sunday, the first round is already published on the site. They will be rated for participants with rating ≤1600 or unrated accounts.
Rewards for Blitz Rounds will also be given in Eolymp Mints:
Criteria | Eolymp Mints |
---|---|
Top-10 (ranks 1 to 10) | 200 |
10 random participants among Top-100 who scored at least 51 points | 100 |
Eolymp Cup
Last year’s Eolymp Cup was an exciting highlight, and we received lots of positive feedback. However, this season we’ve decided to pause the Cup to focus on a stable schedule of Weekend Practice and Blitz Rounds. This lets us deliver the most consistent and high-quality contests for everyone.
Stronger Anti-Cheating Measures
We’ve improved our detection systems to better catch plagiarism and AI-generated code. Our goal is to ensure that Eolymp Mints reward skill and effort, not shortcuts.
From now on, cheating will carry stricter consequences:
Violation | Penalty |
---|---|
First violation | Disqualification from the round |
Second violation | Disqualification + 1-month ban |
Third violation | Disqualification + 3-month ban |
Fourth violation | Disqualification + ban until the end of the season |
Violations are counted within a single season.
We’re looking forward to seeing you in this new season!
As always, your feedback is welcome on our Discord server or by email at support@eolymp.com.
