Eolymp completes ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification audit
Our information security management system has successfully passed an external audit by Insight Assurance and has met all requirements for ISO/IEC 27001:2022 with no outstanding nonconformities — the internationally recognized standard for information security management. The certificate is currently being issued. This is the same standard held by Google and Microsoft.
The certification process was rigorous and took several months. The auditor examined our infrastructure, data processing and storage procedures, access controls, incident response processes, and internal company policies — and confirmed full compliance across all areas.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is not a one-time checklist. It requires maintaining a continuously improving security management system with documented policies, regular risk assessments, and ongoing internal audits. Earning this certification means committing to uphold that standard year after year.
For Eolymp, security matters deeply — we handle personal data of thousands of students, teachers, and competition organizers across many countries. This certification is external, independent confirmation that our practices meet the world's highest standards.
To the best of our knowledge, Eolymp is the only platform for olympiads and competitions in the world to complete the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 audit with no nonconformities. 🏆
